Children, teens, families, adults. Cognitive-behavioral and systems therapy. Psychological evaluations and psychotherapy with ADHD, learning disability, adjustment difficulties, behavior disorders, depression and anxiety disorders.
In my practice I provide psychological assessment and therapy to children as young as age 3, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My areas of specialty include working with children, adolescents, and adults who have attention-deficit disorder, learning disabilities, behavior problems, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and adjustment difficulties due to abuse, bereavement, or divorce.
My goals in psychological assessment and therapy are to help people determine their strengths and areas that could benefit from further growth and then to use this information to find methods of overcoming current difficulties and achieving their goals. My primary theoretical orientations are cognitive-behavioral and family systems models. With young children I often work in a play therapy modality in combination with the parents and family. I also conduct psychological evaluations with children, teens, and adults to identify various personality issues, learning disabilities, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
