OWI 12 Hour Drinking Drivers Education Course
The 12-Hour OWI Program is required by the Iowa Department of Transportation for anyone
with an impaired driving offense. This program is based on research and provides information and support to assist people in exploring new beliefs and changing behaviors.
All instructors are certified by the Prevention Research Institute in compliance with the Iowa Department of Transportation requirements for driver license reinstatement.
Friday, January 18 th 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 19 th 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Friday, February 15 th 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 16 th 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Friday, March 15 th 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 16 th 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Preregistration is required. Please call 515-222-1999 to register. $180 will be due at the start of the class. Registration will close the day prior to scheduled class. To cancel or reschedule, you must contact our office 24 hours before the class starts.

CIPS counselors are also able to complete substance abuse evaluations, as required by the Iowa Department of Transportation.
